The Society was formed in 1965 as the Guernsey Society for Spastics and the Physically Handicapped (G.S.S.P.H).
The name was changed in 1998 to the Guernsey Society for the Physically disabled (G.S.P.D.)
The Society's Aims and Purposes
The Society and its committee, Staff and Volunteers are committed to help and assist people with physical, mobility and sensory disabilities of all ages throughout the Island and indeed the Bailiwick of Guernsey, in a variety of ways.
