DESCRIPTION
We are the local branch of MND Association affiliated to the National Organisation which helps and supplies us with up to date information on treatments and research.
YOU MAY WONDER WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE OLD LOGO?

Well, the Head Office in the UK have designed a new one which we now have to display on all our literature, brochures and collecting tins. It will slowly appear as the year goes on, so be on the lookout for it!

THE LOCAL BRANCH OF MNDA OFFER CARE AND SUPPORT FOR PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES WHICH INCLUDES:

· Providing a small team of volunteer visitors.

· Loaning equipment.

· Helps to fund vital research into MND.

· Helps to improve statutory services to people with MND.

· Provides up to date information and guidance about the disease.

· Helps with education and training opportunities for health ands social care professionals.

· Promotes public and professional awareness and understanding of MND and the roll of the association.

· Is part of an active network of regional branches across the UK.
