Welcome to the WRVS Guernsey website. Whether you want to volunteer, to know more about the services we can provide to help people, particularly older people, live independently and with dignity in their homes and communities, or want to support the work we do, you'll find lots of interesting information on our site.

IF YOU CAN FIND TIME TO FIT IN SOME VOLUNTARY WORK, PLEASE GIVE US A CALL

We need men and women to assist with all our activities - volunteers decide how much or how little time they wish to give.
We are always in need of more drivers for the Day Centres, especially for our new 12 seater minibus and for the Meals on Wheels service.
Non-drivers can help with the delivery of the meals or act as escort on the Day Centre bus.
Volunteers are also needed at the day centres to assist with the daily routine of serving meals, hairdressing and looking after the elderly people.

Please telephone the Day Centre Supervisor (tel. 246045) or the WRVS office (tel. 247518) to discuss what help you could give us, or arrange to call and see for yourself what help is needed at the present time.

The work is very worthwhile and greatly appreciated by the recipients. Come and make new friends and serve the community at the same time.
